The Mesh Networks announces the HomeNet™ and BizNet™ Intelligent Router now not only allows consumers to customize their home network's bandwidth settings per device, it will also allow consumers to receive automated alerts when a device connects or disconnects from their home or small business network.
"Automated alerts can be set up to notify when a user has connected or disconnected from their network," said Richard O. Heath, VP of Operations, Mesh Networks. "Alerts notify a parent via text or email when a device such as a smart phone or other device connects or disconnects. Additionally, when new devices request access – alerts are sent to the network administrator. For the small business owner, unsurpassed visibility and control into ones network can greatly increase productivity."
"The HomeNet™ Intelligent Router will be released with many first to market capabilities that consumers have never been able to do before. It allows consumers to customize their home network's bandwidth settings per device either in real time or by using priority schedules. The HomeNet™ Router will allow consumers to fine tune their home or small business networks based on their needs. Viewing Internet usage, setting device priority levels and controlling the network from any location using any connected device, network administrators have unparalleled access to their home or small business networks with the new HomeNet™ Router. In addition, to ensure safe and appropriate Internet access, you can enable website tracking." Mr. Heath went on to say in conclusion, "With the activation of what we call 'Notifications,' Mesh Networks has just raised the bar in home and small business network management and bandwidth optimization to a whole new level."
The HomeNet™ Router was developed to provide for the consumer what The Mesh Networks has been providing for business since 2005; intelligent bandwidth optimization. More feature information is available at homenetrouter.com. Release is set for second quarter, 2013.

The Mesh Networks has released a video (view at www.homenetrouter.com) to help educate consumers on the benefits and features of the HomeNet Intelligent Router. The video highlights several key features of the HomeNet router and showcases its capabilities in order to demonstrate the state-of-the-art technology built into the device, which allows users to increase the quality of service they receive from their Internet provider.
"Having slow Internet because of an unmanaged network is something that most households dread," said Matthew Druckhammer, Field Sales Technician for The Mesh Networks. "The HomeNet router eliminates this problem by allowing the customer to have complete control of which device gets how much Internet, resulting in a much more efficient network environment."
The HomeNet router does this by allowing the user to set bandwidth per device either on a schedule or in real-time. This allows users to fine tune their home networks and enable their networks to run at peak efficiency.
"HomeNet wireless routers can help manage your home network by providing an easy way to manage your bandwidth,” said Matthew. "It offers a way for you to control all the wired/wireless devices and users on your network and allocate bandwidth speed accordingly."
The Mesh Networks is currently conducting a Beta Test for the HomeNet router. The Beta is an opportunity for The Mesh Networks to fine tune the HomeNet router into a device that customers will not only want to use, but enjoy using.
"We are very excited about the launch of the HomeNet router and moving toward full-scale production,” said Leon Hubby, President and CEO of The Mesh Networks. “Our goal with the HomeNet router is to ensure that everyone is able to have the best possible Internet experience, by allowing them to decide where their bandwidth goes. Now the customer can determine what their level of quality of service is, not the Internet provider, and with an efficient home network that is now possible with the HomeNet router."

The Mesh Networks is beginning its beta test program for the HomeNet™ Intelligent Router this week, in preparation for a planned retail release in second quarter 2013. The HomeNet™ Router beta test is by invitation only and selected participants range from household users to small businesses. The beta test will run for about 60 days, the data collected will be used to finalize the HomeNet™ Router for retail sale.
The beta test is the next step towards final production of the HomeNet™ Router and The Mesh Networks will glean current working data before going into full production. Reportedly, the beta contributors, a cross-section of small business owners and home consumers, will utilize each feature of the router, thus offering a unique opportunity to effectively analyze the HomeNet™ Router functionality in small business and home environments.
“Our goal with the beta test is to confirm that we got it right and to allow the customer to decide what features they really want,” said Leon Hubby, President and CEO of The Mesh Networks. “This data will help improve the product and bring it up to top form before debuting it to the mass market." Mr. Hubby added.
The HomeNet™ Router allows for real-time or scheduled home network management allowing the consumer to put their “bandwidth where they want it, when they want it”. This is just one of several innovative broadband management tools to be tested; features being implemented in a real-world environment in preparation for the retail product for market.
“We want to help people have the best and highest Quality of Experience on the Internet possible by choosing what that is themselves,” said Mr. Hubby. “We allow the user to put their bandwidth where they want it, when they want it. It’s an exceptional router that gives you control over your Internet experience and it substantially boosts Quality of Experience. Keep an eye out for its official release and try it yourself, we are pretty sure you’re going to love it.” Mr. Hubby concluded.
